With this motto, we are calling on all people in and around Basel to actively stand up for the rights and acceptance of LGBTQIA+ people (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual, non-binary) and go out on the streets with us. In Basel, we can look forward to a new, more inclusive equality law. But at the same time, queer people still experience discrimination and violence far too often – especially transgender and non-binary people.

It’s time for people inside and outside the community to show solidarity. A colorful and diverse society must be lived every day and starts in our thoughts and minds. We are using this day to show our diversity even more loudly and proudly than usual. That’s why we’re asking you – «how colorful do you tick?»
