Basel tickt bunt! ๐ŸŒˆ

ABOUT US

We are a small group of enthusiastic people who have made it our mission to organize a queer festival day in Basel.

Our organizing committee uses the association structure of HABS Queer Basel, but we are autonomous and independent.

It is important to us that this day is organized in a non-profit way and is not supported by big corporations.

MISSION

We celebrate Saturday, June 29, 2024 under the motto: Basel tickt bunt! as a sign of our acceptance, tolerance and respect for all people, regardless of their origin, sexual orientation, gender or gender identity.

We strive for a normality in which every form of love is accepted and there is no discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. We want to actively campaign for queer people to experience the same acceptance as heterosexual people.

Our goal is to achieve a society that is free of violence and discrimination against queer people. We want a society that is colorful and diverse, in which every voice is heard and every person is respected and treated equally.

On Saturday, June 29, 2024, we want to stand up for these values and strengthen the visibility of the LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, Non-Binary) community. Let’s be loud, inspire each other, dance together and strive for a better future for all. Let’s be strong together and stand up for a world where love is seen for what it is: love.
